    1. Eileeninmd, I tried to capture that bird in the bird-feeder, but didn't come out nicely like your pics. We had 14 inches or more.

  3. Wonderful winter images there KL - stateside is having a terrible time of it this year. Following on from your comments on my blog - we are experiencing a very odd winter - less than 5 days of frost, little rain and sunny days!! I suspect it's all going to hit us with a vengeance!!!

    1. Angie, I hope it doesn't hit you all with vengeance. But, perhaps these are all results of climate change :-(.

  5. There has been a lot about the weather in US on the news over here lately, about the extremely cold weather and the storms. I feel for you, I know what very cold weather feels like, being from Norway, and I am so glad I no longer live there and have to endure down to minus 30F every winter!
We have had a lot of weather over here too the last 6 weeks, although slightly different kind of weather, mild, but with one storm after the other and way too much rain so many people have had their houses flooded. I have not been affected but my garden is saturated to the point where every time I lift a pot or a container, water will drip out from the bottom. I look forward to a dry and sunny spring – that would be lovely!
    Have a great day :-)

    1. Helene, that much rain is also not good for plants as they drown in :-(. I hope your plants are great so far.

  7. HI KL, oh my gosh, that looks like a lot of snow! It is beautiful, but I rather would prefer to watch it from the cozy warmth and protection of the inside of a house ;-). Stay warm, spring will come eventually. Warm regards,
    Christina

  8. Oh dear, I would not survive living under such a condition... beautiful, yes... but too cold for me... anyway, thank you very much for commenting on my underwater photos... the latest photos were taken with Olympus XZ-2, with underwater housing... unfortunately, the housing leaked and I have to get anew camera...

  9. We didn't get as much snow as you did but lots of very cold temps. The snow is a wonderful insulator for the garden. Plus, shoveling is great exercise! :o)

  10. Yeah, that looks familiar. We were supposed to get a blizzard Sunday but it missed us, thankfully. Temps are going as low as -19, though.

  11. Lots of snow...we got some too but it is the cold that is the problem now...hope you are keeping warm!
